Does anyone use an Ender 3 printer and PETG and can share the settings they use?
I have a friend who has been trying to print me some things but the nozzle continues to build up.
Print speed
Bed temp
print temp
retraction speed
retraction distance
layer height

Thank you

I don't have an Ender 3, but I have been trying to print with PETG, and it constantly clogs up. I was printing a pod hotel and about halfway through, no more filament was being extruded. I haven't had a single, successful PETG print yet. And I'm running it at the recommended settings from the filament supplier (240c, speed of 30-70).

I have an ender3, I can tell you that PETG is the most difficult to work with! It sure needs an enclosure! It needs constant high ambient temp... As for the other settings, trial and error and a bunch of new heads... I just let it go and I print with PLA only...

I do not have an Ender but mostly print with PETG without an enclosure.

The only reason I'm trying PETG is because it's the one people agree is the most reef-safe. I print ABS as well, and use it around my tank (sock hanger), but not in my tank.

Up to now I fed nothing but (mostly AmazonBasics) PETG filament to my glass bed Ender 3, and got decent results with the following more or less standard Cura parameters:

BTW, it may be of importance, that the printer is equipped with a printed Hero Me Gen2 cooling duct.

I print solely in PETG on Ender 3s. Standard Cura settings.

80c bed temp,
235-240 nozzle temp. I've found that I only need the higher temp if the ambient air is colder.
Speed 30-50, if I'm printing something more detailed I slow it down.

Oh I turn off print cooling.

How exactly is it failing ?
