Hey everyone, Just looking for some advice on the amount of flow I currently have. I have one MP10, do I need another wave maker on the opposite side or will it be enough? I’m planning a mixed reef but Focused on LPS.

It’s a 26G Landen all in one, Below I added a picture for reference as well as a visual of the rock.

Hello and welcome! Nice tank. 1 mp10 will be plenty if your just want LPS. You may have to move it around and adjust settings to make sure everyone is happy, but you shouldn’t need more pumps unless you run into an issue with detritus settling on the rocks and sand. LPS generally need far less flow than most folks think.

Thanks! I appreciate your reply

I would look into the hygger tiny wave makers they're discreet powerful and you'll get that nice randomized flow. Get multiple ones and hide them on the back wall...... For cheaper than another mp10!

That is what I have in my 25g IM tank thinking of adding a second just to add a little more flow. Was honestly thinking of trying to find a used MP10 vs having two mini’s in my tank. Downside is the cord is inside the tank where the MP10 is outside. A lot of give and take guess it all depends on budget as well.

Yeah man, I’ve been looking for a used mp10 as well & the prices are just shy off the retail price. I’ve been thinking of a Nero 3, just to add that clash of waves in the middle maybe. I have the mp10 strength at 5/12 lights, so around half strength & it’s doing good but I fear I have some dead spots. Anyway, thanks for the thought
