So I picked up a hot pink bta this weekend, and the first two days my maroon clown had no idea it was in the tank, neither did my other clown (little osco), all of a sudden the maroon took to it like stink on poo, and this maroon is bout 6" long,(9yrs old), and has been abusing the bta ( bout 8" dia, then all of a sudden the little guy figured it out !
So since both have been sharing the bta it seems a little upset !
Shall this too pass or should I remove a link ?

If your sizes are correct, the E. quadricolor is too small. Want the anemone to be at least twice as big as the clown, more so for maroons. They have been known to "love" anemones to death.

I would give it another week, and step in after that if things don't improve. Though I would keep a very close eye, the color "hot pink" could mean that the anemone is already stresses....

What size tank?
What lights?
How long has the tank been set up?
What are your current water parameters, with numbers please
