I have a frag of Captain America and the stems are really long and I was just wondering if they are in need of more light? Majority of my frag tank looks really healthy. A few random polyps look like they are reaching for light but are fully open. Any ideas or is that normal?

Yes, when they're reaching out like that, its usually a sign that the light isn't enough for them. What are you running and how low are they?

My capt americas are on the sand bed ive got 96w over my 20L and they dont extend at all, and I have vivid rainbows that are extend(like your cpt americas) no matter where i put them

96 watt compact or what. You might need to upgrade to t5.

I'm running a DIY LED fixture I made. 15. 3w white and 15 3w blues. I also made a DIY for a 90 gallon I have and everything looks awesome. and the fixture is abou 10 inches above the 10 inches above the water

Are you running lenses on the LEDs??? If not I would lower them a little from 10"s if possible or move the stuff in the tank higher.
