Hi. I have recently bought a new 75 gallon saltwater build and have a question about current lights. I have 2x 48"Current LED IC PRO and a 108w 48" T5HO 2 bulb (white and blue bulbs). Is this enough light or too much?

Do you know if any local places have a par meter for rent? How tall is the tank?

I agree with Spare Time, you can’t really tell if you have enough light or not until you can get a par meter, but you can get away with your eye judgment base on how are the corals doing. I have 4 of the hydra 52hd on my 6 feet 180 gallon, I ran them about 60% for 2 years, I thought I had enough light until I rent a par meter, I found out my corals didn’t get enough light especially sps corals, now my lights are running max is at 100%.

Thanks everyone! I will be going to local store to buy a par meter today. I am attempting, lol, to run a mixed reef. My tank is a 48x18x18. Appreciate the replies and compliments! Been working really hard. Here are some examples of what I am trying to have.

Don't think my piece of Acropora has made it though. Was in rough shape when I recieved but I haven't gave up on it yet.

Never heard of renting one?? where do you go for that?
@Bulk Reef Supply rents them. Small fee, but they do have a refundable deposit. I rented one and used my CC. The refund of the deposit was back on the CC after about a day of them having the par meter back. Worked great.

Thanks everyone, again. I got on their website and did just that. MUCH cheaper! Useless once you get dialed in pretty much. Fingers crossed its enough. If it is not then I have to redo the lights bc I have no more room lol.

Soft corals don’t require too much of light 150-200 par, lps 200-300 but for sps they’re happy at 350-550
