Alright, i’m pretty new to the aquarium hobby but have instantly fell in love. I’m a total tree hugger and animal lover, which results in me being overly cautious of room for my fish in my tank. I have 5 fish in my 30 gallon long. 2 clown fish, 1 fire fish and 2 neon gobies. Would it be safe to add a royal gramma basslet as my last fish? thank you.

Im mostly talking about the rock, it looks like brand new dry rock. How long has the tank been up and running?

That tank looks awful clean/new for so many fish in it already?
To continue on @ThemytB 's comment. That tank looks sparkling. This isn't an insult in any way, it is just a word of caution. You have to add fish VERY slowly. First it has to cycle and then you add a little at a time or it will crash. (I have a horror story of my own from doing that. I lost everything when I first started up years ago.)
A cycled, established tank generally looks more dirty. If you have just set it up recently, I wouldn't add any more fish or livestock. After you have had your tank set up for a couple more months, I think you should be able to add your royal gramma.
I see you just joined the group yesterday. Welcome! :)

over 2 months, i had a bad brown algae bloom that i cleaned up etc. it’s still not all that clean. If i go back downstairs you can tell it’s still got some on there. My turbo snail and conch snail did good work on cleaning it up regardless.

Ok perfect! I wasn’t so much talking about how fast i wanted to add the Royal gramma, more if it was compatible type thing. And ya although i’m new i’ve done some research. I did cycle the tank with the clown fish for a month than next month added the fire fish and 2 neon gobies (neon gobies bio load seems to me almost nothing) so i’ll let the tank go for another couple of months than start to plan adding the basslet. Thank you

A gramma would likely be ok but my suggestion is to get some coralline algae growing on that dead rock. Either buy a bottle, like algae barn pink and purple kit, to seed it or get a few scraps of live rock from a friend or pet store with coralline on it.

Ok, will do.

If your having no issues, I would add the gramma, such a great tankmate and great color.

Stunning. I'm having no issues what so ever other than the scheduled brown algae bloom. Since than no issues. I'm still forced to wait longer considering my LFS does not have them right now

Yes a royal gramma would be a great addition to the tank. As a couple mentioned above, wait at least a few weeks if not a couple of months before doing so to get the biological filtration of the tank some time to grow. Adding too many fish in a young system can overload and cause issues. Looks like your off to a great start and welcome to the R2R family!
