I'm curious to know if anyone modifies their lighting schedule for special events. Say you have a house full of people and it goes on late into the evening. Do you override your schedule to keep the tank lit up for viewing purposes for your guests? or do you let your lights turn off on it's normal schedule?
Personally I've always let the lights turn off.
Let me know below :)

I always let them turn off on there normal schedule. Now if I could just get the rest of the lights in my house to turn off at the same time maybe everyone would know it’s late and time for them to go home.

The grand kids know when the lights go off. I can't resist "Just a little longer Papa?" Doesn't happen often, and hasn't seemed to hurt anything, but yeah. I'm a pushover.

Now that I think of it, I’ll go to fellow reefers houses and they’ll immediately crank up their lights to showcase their reef. I don’t blame them. But I’m not a showboat and I prefer to keep everything timed so I seriously don’t touch anything.
