I now know what lemnalia is like. And let me tell you it’s as nasty as they say. Like ogre boogers, slimes everywhere and when you tick it off smells like skim mate. Now I know your wondering why would you buy that? I thought I was buying litophyton. Because that’s what it was labeled on divers den. Paid a premium for corals you couldn’t have given me. I had to immediately get rid of them cause they could have devastated my tank. Now I’m LAs defense you could mistake the lemnalia for litophyton if you look at them from afar but one close up examination will tell you what you’ve got. Sadly with DD all you get is a single photo to go by.
I’m hoping this story has a happy ending. Since it’s live aquaria I have hope. Waiting to hear back. I just wish they’d get someone in the coral department that could correctly ID stuff.

Did LA have that advertised from Indonesia? Actually there were two of them.

Because I saw one that was tempting, but my bank account was low this week. Guess that was a good thing!

Yes they did. I grabbed both. Neither was litophyton.

Yes. But they cannot confirm if that is actual litophyton or lemnalia. The last time I bought some (on Wednesday) it was lemnalia. The photos are too far away and not high definition enough to be enlarged for me to tell.

I already wasted 260.00 and they seem to be dragging their feet on whether or not they are going to issue store credit, which is very disappointing to say the least
