Hi all,

I recently had a bad experience with using epoxy to re-mount 3 frags:

- Red Sea Max Nano
- Mixed reef tank, LPS/SPS/Softies - 2 months old
- Boston Aqua Farm Coralline Colored Reef Epoxy

Currently, I am cleaning out my 100 micron filter sock daily to try and capture some of the particulate. I changed out my activated carbon (Hoping some of this stuff get captured by the carbon). I'm going to do a 15 % water change tonight, should I blow off the top of the sand to try an get any particulate that settled out of the system?

Suggestions most welcome.

Thanks,

Usually for me after a day it subsides. I've had my skimmer overflow soon after using epoxy. I just take the skimmer cup off for a day and if it is still too foamy, I'll dial the skimmer back for a couple days.

Running carbon may help in combination with the skimmer. Run it on the wet side and empty, rinse repeat
