Epoxy killed fish?

I’m sure it didn’t, but seems suspicious that a tank that’s been stable for a couple years had three fish die the night I moved coral from frag plugs to the live rock using a popular brand of purple “coraline” epoxy. Nothing else changed.

Tested water: 5 nitr, 0.03 phos, 1.026 sal, calc 400, alk 8, mag 1300.

Please alleviate my fears? Back to super glue for me.
More likely stirred up hydrogen sulfide bubbles when moving your rockwork around. It normally releases slowly and dissipates during the gas exchange process. But if you disturb a large amount while moving rockwork, you can kill your fish.
