I either use Oatey Fix it Stick:

Or RectorSeal epoxy putty:

Most 2 part epoxy's are ok. It only takes @20 min. to harden. What I have found to do the best is to mix in some superglue while mixing the epoxy, it gives it much better adhesion properties. Overtime the epoxy alone tends to come apart from the LR. I use surgical gloves to mix it with. I use a mix of 3/16 nylon rods and epoxy to hold my LR together.JME

Plumbers 2 part epoxy? What's the best epoxy to glue corals to the live rocks? Every time I touch one thing 10 rocks fall. I'm completely exhausted

Theres a few types. D&d, twolittlefishies, tunze gum, boston aquafarms. You could also use plain ol gel super glue

If I use gel super glue and glue it to the coral and then place it in the water to glue to the live rock, won't the chemicals distribute in the water?

You don't know guys how hard this has been for me!!! Nothing sticks and I've completely ruined my glass. Everything falls daily

"Super glues" are not water miscible and will quickly turn white when place in water. Use them quickly and they should hold.

Post a pic of your tank. Maybe you're using too many small pieces? I have never cemented rock together and I never have any issues. I'm not saying that cementing or epoxing is wrong at all, it's safer and easier in the long run. Again, post a pic and it will help people determine why rocks are falling. As for glueing coral. You can use most super-glues. A lot of people use a brand called IC Gel. You can get it online from almost any reef store and Amazon sells it as well. You will get a better bond if you use a combo of super glue and epoxy. Use a 2 part epoxy from any of the brands mentioned above by sabellafella, Make a ball of epoxy. Then use super glue between the coral and epoxy and then again between the rock and epoxy. The epoxy will help you press the coral into place and get between crevices and the glue helps it bong a lot better as well. You will also use less glue and less epoxy when you combine the two.

I use about 2 tubes of bsi gel super glue a month. About 99% of anyone who even frags a coral uses superglue lol. Your fine just make sure its a cyanoacrylate based super glue
