glued a piece of favia with epoxy into the tank, The skimmer started overflowing due to the epoxy. I understand this is normal. Should I leave the skimmer off for a few days? or just let it run and keep dumping the cup?

Thanks in advance

Most skimmers that have water level and air adjustments will overflow from my experience.
That is one reason I run a Tunze 9410 DC.
I was always adjusting my standard skimmer when feeding, working in the tank, glueing frags.
With the 9410 its never an issue. I set it up 11 months ago when the tank was new and have never adjusted it.
Dont even turn it off when cleaning the cup.
It also has anti overflow.
