Hello everyone. Looking for some advice here. I have been in the hobby for a few years now and setting up another tank.
I have recently moved and am starting my 90 gallon from scratch. I was going to upgrade to a bigger tank but decided to spend my money on better equipment instead, as I believe 90 gallons is a good size tank. I ran hydor powerheads and T5's in the past. I am going a different route this time. Radion leds and Powerheads. I have already bought my lights and one powerhead off R2R. I am looking to get another power head and the reeflink to sync all of my equipment together.
Here is my question to you all. I have recently come across a local ad with all of the following equipment brand new ; gen 3 Xr30, RMS mount, mp10 wireless QD, tunze auto top off, reeflink and a bubble magus curve 5 protein skimmer. I am obviously only looking to keep the powerhead and the reeflink. I spoke to the gentleman and he is willing to part with it all for 800. Would it be worth the purchase only for the two items? Being so new to R2R I cannot sell them on here yet. I don't want to let It sit on CL. I also do not want to sit on them forever... I'm thinking it might just be worth buying the two items new and not worrying about the rest...
What do you all think?
P.S some progress so far on my setup pics attached. Built my own sump out of a 40g breeder and and the stand is hand made. Also the hard plumbing is in.
