Equipment check: Red Sea Reefer 350

Hi everyone,
I've decided to set up a reef tank! I was thinking about either a Red Sea Reefer 250 or a 350, but chose a 350 since it will give me way more livestock options. I searched the net for some appropriate equipment, and got a lot of different options. I finally decided on the folowing setup and would really like your input. I would like a quiet system.

Hardware:
Tank: Red Sea Reefer 350
Lighting: Maxspect RSX 200W
Skimmer: Deltec 600i
Circulation pump: Coral box QP9
Return pump: Jebao DCP-6500

Livestock (eventually):

Invertebrates:

10 Paguristes Cadenti ( Scarlet leg hermit crab)
1 Linkia Laevigata (Blue starfish)
1 Mespilia Globulus (Tuxedo Urchin)
X Tectus Conus Sp.
X Trochus Histrio
1 Alpheus Bellelus (Tiger pistol shrimp)
2 Lysmata Debelius (Fire cleaner shrimp)

Corals:
different Zoanthus spp.
some gsp
Acropora
Montipora
stylophora
gorgonian with zooxanthellae

Fish:
2 Cryptocentrus Cinctus (Yellow watchman/prawn goby)
3 Doryrhamphus Excisus (Bluestripe pipefish)
2 Corythoichthys Intestinalis (Banded pipefish)
1 -3 fairy wrasse
1 Copperband Butterflyfish


Would this setup work? Would love to get some feedback!

Only thing that stands out to me is you wanting wrasse. Make sure you throw in a red sea lid, or order a custom lid from octolids or @ArtFully Acrylic

About the lighting, would the 200W be enough? Or should I get the 300W version?

Their product page says the following:

"Great for tanks up to 40" long!"
"Maximum Coverage - 50" x 26""
"Effective Coverage - 48" x 22""

The length of a Reefer 350 is 47 inches, the light length is 33 inches for the 200W version. You'll have 7 inches on each side that rely the last cluster of LEDs.

The 300W... I personally think this is too big, it may even hang over the edge at 47.2 inches. It's also pretty pricey.

I'm not familiar with this brand at all, so I'm just showing you numbers you probably already know.

I personally run a photonv2 on my Reefer 350. I tried a AP700, but did not like it.

hmm yeah, I picked it because its not that expensive and a newly released led unit. Are you running a Photon 48-V2? On full? I cant get a photonv2 where I live but the it is only slightly more powerful. Maybe the 200W will be okay if I place my corals correctly.

Yes I use the Photon 48-v2. It is not at 100% though, I use their mixed reef settings.

I would worry about the edges, but if you place properly you should be fine.

Hmm I'll try to search for some more reviews on the Maxspect RSX. I live in the Netherlands, dont think they sell the photon here, though I can order it from the USA and even with added taxes it would probably still be half the price of an AP700. Kessil but also Aqua Illumination leds are expensive.

I think it's a pain to fill up. I have a tunze hooked up to my auto container for added volume. Some people turn their stock auto into a refugium

It works, but as stated many people get a different reservoir since it doesn't hold a lot of water. I have a 10 gallon reservoir and I fill it once a week.

How's the Deltec 600i working out? Was thinking about getting one for my RSR 350 as well, especially since it has a smaller footprint than say the Nyos 120/160. Thanks.
