Working getting the list together for my tank upgrade. Should be able to start buying stuff this week. So I just want to check with people and make sure I have everything or things I should change up. The upgrade is going to be from a 75gal to a 150gal tall RR that will somewhat mixed reef. I know Tall, i have been warned already. The 75 wasn't drilled and only had a HOB skimmer. So this RR and sump is new to me.

Tank- 150gal RR
Sump- 40gal breeder
Skimmer- JNS U3
Lights- Photon 48(already own)
Wave makers- 2 RW8s(already own, but pretty sure I will need 1 more powerhead)
Return pump- Sicce pro4000(1000gph)
ATO-AutoAqua smart ato
Heater- Finnex 300w hps(have 1 already getting a 2nd one)
Rock- 50lbs more dry rock(have somewhere between 70-80 lbs live rock aready)
Sand- New sand
Bio pellet Reactor- Aquamaxx biomaxx XL(with the aquamaxx pellets)
Reactor pump- Sicce 2200(550gph)
Test kits- Undecided on what to get. I have api saltwater and reef test kits but will likely get better stuff.
Stand-DIY
Plumbing- work on that after stand is built

Im not sure if I need anything else yet. Would like to get a doser and a apex but those I can deal with later on. So if anyone sees something I missed or should change please let me know cause the orders start this week.

I'm in the same boat as you I'm moving from 76g half round to 120g. What are you planning to supplement with kalk? 2 part?
Remember a 1" return can only handle 600gph so you may want to dial flow down. You can make a manifold so you can run reactors off it. And leave space to add in future.
Check out Hannah test kits for phosphates and alk I also use their ca kit expensive but I like em. I use a mix of salifert and redsea for backups and 2nd test kits incase of random numbers. I just got a apex gold system and run a dos doser love he ease of use and the options are pretty much whatever you can think of. I'm new to large reef tanks but I've done a lot of question asking and googling forums. Someone with more knowledge than me may help some more but it's what I've found in the last few months of looking.
