Equipment cleaning frequency

Out of curiosity, how often do you deep clean your equipment? I feel as if mineral buildup in your equipment is detrimental for long term efficiency. So how often would/do you give your return pump, powerheads, ect a vinegar bath for example. Currently, due to school, I do it once a year in the summer, but i am leaning towards maybe doing it 2 or even 4 times a year (every break). What about you guys?

Depends on the piece of equipment for me. My main return gets a once a year swap for a seal replacement. UV sterilizer was on a 90 day cleaning cycle but due to a lack of buildup I moved that to once a year. Power heads get the most frequent maintenance with deep cleanings every few months. Other pumps for skimmers and secondary returns get cleaned out every few months.

Almost never. My main return pump went almost 10 years with out a major cleaning ..... it lasted 20.
