Hi guys! I'm looking into setting up a Zoomed 48x24x10 frag tank and am exploring equipment options. Atleast to start, this will be a HOB Filter tank and was thinking either the Seachem Tidal or Aquaclear one. Do you think I would need two HOB's or would one suffice?

Here are other things I am considering -
-HOB Protein Skimmer - Is this necessary?
-Flow (Was thinking one gyre or possibly MP40s)
-Lighting - This I am most unsure about. Seems like there is alot of variance on here about lighting one. I would mainly be looking into keeping zoas, shrooms, other softies but I would also like to do some LPS/SPS such as Acans, Birdnest, Sylo, etc
-ATO - Definitely something I'll be getting for the tank and would love any recommendations.

Thanks in advance for any time taken to answer the questions and considerations for this frag tank!

For a frag tank a single HOB will be fine. You probably don't need the skimmer unless there are going to be a number of caretaker fish - and even then it may not be needed.
I was thinking a Foxface, Sixline, and a bunch of snails

Seeing lots of good reviews for the ReefBreeders Photons, thinking on that for a light

Also a Maxspect Gyre for flow
