I'm looking to upgrade a couple of pieces of equipment (Black Friday coming soon). I have a 90 gallon reef (it's been set up for 2 years).

1) Magnet Cleaner - I currently use a mag float. Need a major upgrade as this just doesn't cut it. I'm looking at either the Flipper or Tunze (long or strong). Which one should I get? It looks like the Tunze Strong is the most expensive (not sure if it's worth it or not).

2) GFO/Carbon Reactor - I currently have the BRS dual stage. Really tired of it not tumbling GFO and having issues with it leaking. What is the best dual reactor that I can get?

I'm not sure about a different reactor as I still use my BRS dual stage without any issues but for a magnet cleaner, I use the Flipper Max on my 210 and I love it.I used a Mag-float for years but will never use another one after switching to the Flipper.

I have the magfloats, and switch to the flipper and really like how the flipper works and does not scratch the glass with the blade.

As far as Reactors go I run my carbon separated from my GFO. Bio pellets in the reactor and GFO in my flow tray of my sump. Not much help here but thought I would share :)

I have the tunze care and love it! I could never get the hang of actually flipping the flipper lol.

Can you tell me what pump you are using with the reactor? I'm just using the standard pump that came with it. With your flipper, do you leave it in the tank? Does the blade rust?

I'm just using an old mini-jet 606 adjustable pump that seams to always have about the right flow for using gfo/carbon or sometimes I run carbon in both without using gfo. I do use the small shutoff valve on the line to fine tune the flow sometimes.

I take my Flipper out of the tank and dry it off with a towel after I use it. The blade clicks on and off pretty easily so I make sure I get it dry and I haven't had any rust to show up yet.
