Equipment Suggestions

I need your help with what equipment to buy because im planning to stock up on sps. From my understanding I need
1.calcium Reactor
2.Doser
3.Apex Controller

What brands would be affordable and will be suitable for my 50 Gal corner reef. As far as Lighting and equipment i am already using. JbJ auto top off, jebao wavemaker and 2 Kessil 360N. Can anyone pls game me more on how I should use them. Thx

I would get the 2 part doser kit from Bulk Reef Supply...it can be run with an Apex which you should get or a Reefkeeper controller

you might also look into another powerhead as SPS need high flow

Sounds good. Because of the way my tank is shaped (Bow front corner Reef) Should i go with 2 Small power heads or one big one? Because My Jebao Is the wp-40 and runs 900 gph. My tank is probably less than 50 gallons. It was really hard to figure out where to place it. Since it blew everything around on the minimal setting. The pump is on the right side and i faced it towards the glass slightly upward.

You will want either the dosers or the cal reactor not both. I run the brs dosers on my tank and control it with the apex. As far as flow, the more the better. Make it random flow also

I have a wp25 on my 50 gallon breeder and have plenty of flow. I'm only running mine at 75% locked and on the else setting. I don't have a sump either. I have hob Reef octopus skimmer and fluval canister filter. I have acans ,zoas, frogspawn, green slimmer, Monti, clam.

Jebao wp25? have you done sps? any successful results?

I have a green slimmer and a blue pearl digi 2 kinds of Monti a weslo so far so good . I've only had the slimmer and digi a couple of weeks so far but look great.

I do weekly water changes. I have a 2 part for dosing if I need it called reef fusion. Also have magnesium if needed. This is just manually done when needed. Which is less now that I do weekly changes.

Honestly, you don't have to have any of that. It is nice to automate the process, but you can manually dose calcium, alkalinity and magnesium. You don't need a $500 controller. Again, it is nice to have, but you asked what do you have to have to keep SPS. What you do need to keep SPS is the proper lighting, strong flow in the tank and a close eye on water chemistry.
