BRS actually did a study on 90 degree vs 45 degree fittings and found no difference in GPH. I'm probably aiming on the low side for 10x turn over with that pump, but it's ultimately up to you. Some reefers prefer to generate all of their flow from wave makers and allow time for water to be processed in the sump. Some like higher turnover. You could very well be good and happy with the 10x!

Next question. The corner tank is bowfront 39". Top to bottom is 23" and front to back is 27.25".

Would 1 Kessil A360X be good enough or would I be better off going with 1 AI Hydra 26? Plan on putting some fish in there and want the flexibility to mix up the coral. No set plans as of yet on what types but want the flexibility to mix it up. Love all types of coral and I'm excited for that part but let be honest I'm months from that but want the right light in place ahead of time.
