So I just got my tank on Saturday and got the cycle started. I’m looking to get a salinity tester so I can test it I have test kit for nitrifies and nitrates, what salinity tester is a good one and other equipment I may need jus starting out?

I got an aquatop 40 gallon, I have the test kit for nitrates and nitrites and that’s it? I’m looking at getting some stormtrooper clowns and idk what else yet. Some corals for surePersonally I think a refractometer is better, if you get the hydrometer, get the good glass one, not the cheap plastic coralife one.
What size and what kind of tank do you have, and what equipment you have already? What do you want to keep in the tank?
You will get many answers based on usage and what others using. I personally like the Hanna digital and refractometer as long as periodically calibrated also works wellSo I just got my tank on Saturday and got the cycle started. Do you have a link?i have both hydrometers and refractometers. what i have found, is that sometimes the refracto goes out of calibration, and calibration fluid over time also has a tendency to creep. What has worked best for me, is to use tropic-marin's high precision hydro to check my fresh made saltwater, once that is at 1.025 i use that to calibrate/check calibration on my refracto for tank checks etc.
Could you send me the link please? You will get many answers based on usage and what others using. I personally like the Hanna digital and refractometer as long as periodically calibrated also works well
