Eric Westfall (Pizzaguy) Family Loss

It is with a heavy heart that i report the loss of Eric Westfall's (Pizzaguy) oldest son Damien Westfall, 21 years old, lost his life on June 16th 2020 in a tragic car accident.

The family is deeply grieved and struggling through the process of assembling final plans for their beloved son.
With the approval of David and the moderation team, this is an opportunity for the R2R community to show support for this member who has contributed so much to my life and many others in the hobby.

There are a number of fundraising events coming out of the RC Car racing community to which both Damien and Eric were deeply involved in.
As well there is a GoFundMe effort towards raising funds to help the family with final services.

Please give as you are able and join me in lifting this family up in thoughts and prayers.

This is always brutal. I am so sorry to @pizzaguy for such a tragic loss and to be so young. You have a lot of love and support around you even when you feel like you have nothing.
