Eric's 120 gal reef tank

Hi my name is Eric from Arcadia Ca. I been hook on this hobby for the last year or so. This form (people) has help me so much of understanding what is take to be good reef keeper. There is so much more i need to learn that's why I'm here all the time looking around asking? I meet alot of cool peeps here as well.

Okay here is my tank info
120 gal LeeMar 4x2x2 starfire 3 side with 2x 1 1/2in overflow 2x 3/4in return and Leemar Stand
Light rack from SPS Coral store Ca. for my 2x ai vega with a third added later if needed
40gal AA sump 36x18x16
aquamaxx ecomaxx em200 skimmer
RKE
2x Ai vega with third added if needed
mp40 and wp25 when i get it
2x TLFphosban reactor 150
2x BRS two part

Nice start. Have you tested the plumbing for noise and leaks yet? Seeing that you have a center overflow I'm wondering if its going to be noisy with that short drop to the sump with the 90s.

I did the leak test and had a couple of little leak nothing to bad just little silicone fixs that. As for the noise inside the sump, it's not that bad. The only thing is the waterfall noise coming from the overflow box, guess I gotta play with it alittle more.

this is the sand i will be using. i like cause is not too fine like others I have use in the past. Got 6 bags total of 120 lb. guess that should to enough for now
