Can I use human use erytromycin in reef tank against cyano? I don't have access to Chemiclean or any other products from the market. Thank you.

Thank you so much for your answer. Api recomands 200 mg erytromycin for 10 gallons. I will use the same amount. I'll get back with the outcome.

I usually don't have cyano problems but had a bit of an outbreak after using RedSea AB+. I was treating my LPS with Cipro for BJD and as a side benefit it killed all the cyano dead.

If it is EM phosphate, there is a LOT of phosphate in there so get another kind if you can. You can also use Tylosin if you can find it locally.

That is about 5 ppm. Seems reasonable.

Here are all the ingredients: erythromycin propionate, povidone, microcrystalline cellulose, corn starch, talc, magnesium stearate.
