can erythromycin and kanaplex be used at the same time to combat both gram negetaive and positive infections?

can erythromycin and kanaplex be used at the same time to combat both gram negetaive and positive infections?

I've never mixed those two; but I have combined erythromycin with minocycline (aka Maracyn 2). That combination covers both gram positive (erythromycin) and gram negative (minocycline).
