Been battling these little blighters since July, when my store moved the SW fish clear across to the other end of the Fish Wall; I used to have to scrub the glass twice a day.
Started using H2O2 and it helped knock 'em back, but stressed the beans out of my invertebrates (seastars, nems, and corals were especially upset). Also used Chemiclean (only Corporate Approved product; even the H2O2 was snuck in under the radar).
I heard from a friend that erythromycin can knock back dinos without killing the beneficial bacteria, and it's a reef-safe product.
Finally remembered to bring my box of Maracyn to work, this weekend... and I'm so glad I did.
My corals are more vibrant, my rocks are staying cleaner, and my sand is no longer getting that bubbly snot carpet.
Even my nems are happier!

GSP After:
Much more green!

Sand now:
(Still not perfect, but it was only day 2 when I took the pic)
Today I mixed up the sand really well, right before dosing (which got my corals' knickers in a knot)
Boogery zoa rage...
Anyway! Thought I'd share my experience with y'all.
We're on dose 3, today.
Oh! And bonus: when my damsels mopped the floor with my six-line wrasse, it recovered, rather than succumbing to infection. Doing much better, and is eating well, now. Whew!
