Hi everyone, so i have a skimz sm201 skimmer which i purchased a few years back, no problems at all until a snail decided to get in the way of the venturi and got sucked out of its shell blocking the venturi, when i realized the skimmer level was really low, took the snail shell out and the skimmer kept on going... a few days later another snail did the same thing (i had introduced the snails a few weeks back to the sump)... anyway, took the skimmer out to clean, and noticed the impeller magnet body burst, it works, but don’t want rust or anything leaking into my tank... problem is, I can’t find the replacement anywhere! I need help!!

Is Skimz still in business? Have you tried contacting them? Or whoever you bought it from?

Hi Thank you for replying so quickly, i tried skimz directly on their website but you cant buy there... have no idea why... and I bought it used when i started in the hobby because it was cheap, I had a 60 gallon tank at the time (4 years ago) and didn’t know I was buying such a big skimmer for only 150
