I bought this overflow in conjunction with a mag 9.5 return pump.
In order for me to keep the pump section from running dry, I had to ball valve the return and throttle it back greater than 50%!
I have 1" pvc running from the overflow to the sump via a total of 3 90 degree elbows.
I know 90's are not great but can't except that I'm loosing 400 + gpm from them either.
NO RESPONSE FROM ESHOPPE AFTER 2 EMAIL ATTEMPTS ( VERY DISAPPOINTING TO SAY THE LEAST).

ANY ideas anyone?
What size pvc are you guys running from the overflow?

Thanks

Sorry can't help with issue your having but as far as eshopps support : Try calling them on Monday, I have never received an email response. I would call until you get a live person, IIRC, I didn't get a return call either... I was trying to replace an impeller for my skimmer, once I got someone on the phone they were helpful but initial contact is a pain

Great thanks. I'm now seeing charts that state pcv at 1" can only flow 600 gph at best under gravity.
Eshoppes states a size needed for the return but never mentions the overflow plumbing.
You would think if they advertise 800 gph that they would state minimum hose/pipe diameters required.
Guess I gotta rip all the 1" out and install 1.250 which is rated at 1000 gph.

Hopefully my frustrations help someone else out.
