Eshopps cube under 40b

What's the general consensus on the Eshopps cube for a sump? I'm considering putting one under a 40B.

I used a 20g from Petco under my 40g breeder. I waited for the $1/gallon sale and built everything. Saved a ton of money!

I thought about going that route, but I found a really good deal on a new Cube. After buying the 20g and the baffles and such I'd only save about 50 bucks. The real incentive for me is the space. With the Cube I'd have plenty of room for my 5 gallon ATO container that I currently use. With a 20 it wouldn't fit unless I oversized the stand, and I'd rather not do that.

Sounds like a good plan. I ended up using a 20g tall instead of long to make room for ato/electronics etc. Good luck!

I've had one under my 40b for about four months. Does great, plenty of room for ato container. Run a skimmer, marine pure and chemi-pure in the fuge section
