Just wanted to share my experiences with the Eshopps Eclipse L I just installed on my 3/4 inch thick square tank.
The Eclipse L will NOT fit on a 3/4 inch thick tank using all of the supplied gaskets. The overflow system comes with three gaskets on each 1.5 inch drain from weir to drainage box. One is pre-installed on the flange in the weir itself, and two are supplied for installation between the overflow box and aquarium glass and between the locking nut and overflow drain box. Using all three gaskets on a 3/4 inch tank, the locking nut will not secure itself to the threads.
I ended up using silicone as the gasket between the locking nut and overflow box. So my gasket install order from the tank interior to exterior is: pre-installed gasket in weir | weir box | gasket | glass | overflow box | silicone | locking nut. I figure as long as the gasket between the tank and weir holds up, the gasket between the overflow box and tank is unnecessary since I'm going to silicone the locking nut to the overflow.
Or maybe move the weir/glass gasket to overflow/glass and it could serve double duty.
