Ok so I just received the eshopps float valve and connected it to the ATO and it just started shooting water out of the top. I made sure it was at a 90 degree and that the hose was pushed in all the way. What am I doing wrong? Anyone have the same issues. I mean is it really that hard to work a valve haha.

It is hard to tell by your description, can you post a picture, or diagram? However, I am going to guess the john guest connector is not fitted properly around the tubing. You might have to push the tube in further, you should feel it when it is in place (it is difficult to describe, but sometimes it feels like it is in all the way, but is not). I have many of these fittings in my ATO setup, so this happens to me every now and then...

It is also possible the connector is faulty.

Where the hose connects to the quick connect water just pours out as soon as any pressure is put on it. I tried to post the video I took but it wouldn't. I will try again thank you for the response.

I use these on both my tanks. If the tubing isn't pushed all the way in that will happen. It will go in about an inch.

I finally got it working. You both were right. I guess they sent a faulty quick connect. It would not push in as far as the one i bought. I went to home Depot got connection and worked great. Thanks
