Eshopps nano skimmer problem

Just installed my protein skimmer yesterday, it’s not running as I’m still cycling. But I’ve noticed that the pump that goes in the skimmer is weighing down the magnet causing it to slowly sink over time. Hasn’t went fully under but it won’t stay where I set it. Has anyone has this similar problem ?

I don’t have that skimmer but had a similar problem just made a tiny eggcrate shelf and put it underneath the skimmer

Doesn’t sound too bad , gonna try and figure something out. I’m not too crafty lol
