Currently putting together my first aquarium. A 60 gallon cube with a 20 gallon sump. Having trouble decided which overflow to get, I've narrowed it down to the Eclipse (800 GPH) or Prodigy (700 GPH). Is there much of a difference other than the Prodigy being a slimmer design? Haven't ordered yet, but was going to go with the Sicce Syncra SDC 3.0 as return pump.

Appreciate any insight!

I don't know about the prodigy, but I got the eclipse on my new tank last month. The eclipse comes with the drill bit, which was really helpful to me, it was one less thing to figure out and buy.

I went with sicce sycra 6.0 for my 40 breeder with 20 gallon sump. I could have gone with a smaller pump, but could not find any in stock anywhere and I didn't want to wait. I also love "more power argh argh argh " (my poor tim allen impression)

Yeah it looks like they both come with the stuff to drill, which I liked.
So would you recommend going with a bigger return pump? Guess I could always just turn it down if need be
