Eshopps psk-100h

I bought the eshopps psk-100h a month ago. Plenty of time for it to break in. It's been running 24/7 since and it still let's micro bubbles into my tank. Is there someone out there that can help. I called eshopps and they said to raise the skimmer and clean the sponge did that and nothing has happened yet and that's been 2 weeks ago. I have a HOB because I can't fit a big enough sump in my apartment and stand. Tank is 55 gallons

I have that exact model. I love mine. Check the following:

Is it sucking in air?
Is the water lever about halfway up the neckdown area?

Also put the output sponge on the top of the tuning tube. It clogs too easily and then the skimmer will overflow.

Yeah it works and I would love mine if it would stop letting micro bubbles in the tank. It really pulls the bad stuff out of the water but it still let's micro bubbles in the tank. Why put the sponge on the adjusting tube. When I take the sponge off there are big bubbles that come out
