I need help with my sump. I’ve only had it about a month. Every now and again, the water on the return pump side gets really low. At first I thought it was a top off issue, but my top off works fine.... the water level in the skimmer and filter sock sections are where they’re supposed to be. I can’t figure out why this happens. I’ve considered that my filter sock needs to be cleaned but water seems to be flowing fine in that section. Help please?

Is your ATO line and sensor in the return pump section?

Is your ATO line in the return pump section?

No. It’s in the middle section where the skimmer is.

That may be the problem... you need the ATO’s level sensor in the return section as only the water level in that section will fluctuate due to evaporation.
