I have the same skimmed and it’s a fantastic skimmer and very quiet. At times it’s picky and you have to adjust it but most of the time it’s super stable. If I can ask what did you go to. Reason is I hate the new one g4 and if mine ever well breaks then I have a back up and it’s fits really well.

it should be fine . you should be able to run a 120 at its max load .

i acquired a reef octo DC skimmer so im giving it a go .
