Hey all!
This is the skimmer I have:
Lately, I cannot keep a constant water level. I put it where I want it, then it rises on its own. Its not sliding down the glass and the water level in that part of my sump never changes.
I have found that when I clean the sponge on the bottom, it does help keep it consistent but what started out as cleaning it once a month...became once a week. Now its barely able to do that. I have the flow all the way at the lowest output for the pump (I used to keep it at the highest) and I still cant get the water level I need to get concentrated skimmate.
This skimmer is ~ 8 months old. Do I need to take apart the pump part and clean it out? Can I even do that?
Im at a loss of what to do...it overflows the collection cup within the 10 hours Im at work. Its very light skimmate, can see right through it.
