Tank cycled about a month ago it’s now almost 3 months old. I did a test a couple days ago every thing was good except it showed a very slight amount of pink on the Red Sea test for nitrite around 0.5ppm I’d say. Is this normal?

It's usually either a test error or an issue with low resolution with most hobby grade kits (where the small amount of nitrite in your reef that is always present will be interpreted as being "rounded up"). So long as you haven't created an imbalance with your biological filtration (adding new fish, overfeeding, the death of an animal), my money is on testing error/poor resolution and wouldn't worry about it.

Nitrites don’t factor at all. You’re set n ready. Your tester is likely wrong, and even if not, doesn’t matter in reefing. Nitrites don’t factor anymore, they factor when people are trying to make you buy extra bottle bac.
