Established?

When or how does one consider or know when your tank is "established"? I want a mandarin gobie.

Are you planning on dosing your tank with pods to feed the Mandarin?
DO you have a fuge that is growing them?

I do not have a fuge, so I would be dosing. If that's not a good idea - I would consider not getting one if I can't properly care for it. I seem to have a year to worry about it though. But is a 28 gallon tank worthy of a fuge?

If your not going with a fuge with Macro algae to grow pods, then you'd have to dose. The reason they tell you to wait is to bring up the population of pods, but if your going to dose them, then your good to go now.
