ESV B ionic clumped!

So i pruchased b ionic in 2 gallon size, after using c balance most of my years of reefing, i decided to give esv b ionic a shot. So i see i have to add water to dilute the bottle, but one of the bottle has a big brick like clump at the bottom that doesnt seem to dissolve even after adding water and a good 5 minute shake. is this normal ?

It can be hard to dissolve the alkalinity part. Try warming it, as warm as you can.

I've been using esv b ionic for a few years now....what I have found is that the ALK part needs to be heated in order to dissolve....usually I heat the bucket in hot water alongside my bucket of rodi...I have found that the undiluted solution will remain quite solid until the water is added to dilute it.... Even the. It requires more heating and more stirring....
