Esv b-ionic clumping

I bought the b-ionic 2 part. Well part 1 has clumped up. I see the label says to warm it up. Do i add the ro water first then warm the jug.
Any help would be great.

Add your ro water to the jug and recap, then fill up your sink with hot water and soak the jug, Shake from time to time and freshen up the hot water if necessary.
