ESV B-Ionic Gallons Arrived already diluted

Hi

I order the two gallon containers of ESV B-Ionic of Alk and Calcium from Amazon and they arrived already diluted. The gallons are completely full not the normal half full with Alk as a thick block.

Before I return it, does anyone have any input. Is it worth testing or anything else?

*Guess I better order from the normal reef stores instead of Amazon. Ive bought many gallons before from BRS and Marine Depot and they always need to be diluted.

You can test it for alkalinity and see the potency . I have a set of directions I posted recently, but am on my phone right now

I could use my hanna checker, but I assume the reading would be really high. Im guessing someone filled them up, so they might be fine. Im just most concerned how they filled them up, tap water etc...

If you have normal B-ionic (not the Bicarbonate version), then if you add 4.5 mL in a gallon of RO/DI, the alkalinity will be 10.1 dKH when made to the normal potency. [emoji3]

Can’t help on what they might have used, but even most tap water is OK since you’d add so little each day.
