ESV B Ionic Salt

Can I swap to this salt without problems? I use Red Sea salt. And if I can how would I do it?

Slowly acclimate your tank with the new salt by changing out some of the RedSea salt out for the ESV urging water changes. Start with a small amount and each water change bump up the ESV until its all that you're using.

You really dont need to acclimate unless your changing params.

Be sure to watch your alkalinity closely with your use of bio-pellets.

Not always. Isnt that esv salt the one with the additives to gibe the params you want?

Yea mike that's the one that u can make it how ever you want. I'm changing do to the fact that I can always make it to be spot on. At the moment I'm at 12 dkh and my acros look great no burns and in running pellets

Oh your using the red sea pro. Gotta specify on those as the regular has way lower alk. But yea just doing normal small wc with new salt shouod change params to fast

No I'm using regular Red Sea but some how my kalk keeps raising my alk to 12

Use less kalkwasser, should help bring that number down some. Are you dosing or just using kalkwasser?
