If you had the choice between these two skimmers, which would you choose?

I have access to two pumps that would power either one.

The 1800 is rated for 800 gallons, but it uses a 1/2hp motor and has 4 columns. It is about 28" high with a large mixing box

The 1400 is twice as tall, has two towers, rated for only 600gallons, but uses a 1/3hp motor with much less wattage and amps. This is 48" high with a small mixing box for how tall the towers are.

Height isn't a problem for me. I just wonder which really performs the best and if I'd get that much more out of the 1800 for what I'm putting out in extra elect. consumption.

Again, not to beat this to death, but it would be going on a 240g mixed reef (350gallon total volume)with heavy bioload.
Thanks,
Tom
