I've got what I took me a while to identify as a eunicid rock worm in my 4 gal pico. He's about 4 inches long (at least the part of him that comes out) so far he hasn't bothered anything and lives in my zoa rock but he's pretty big and at this point I have to dangle a piece of silver side in front of his cave and feed him or he jacks everyone else's food.

Heres a pic its not mine but he is identical!

I had one and it killed fish and ate coral. I took the rock out that it lived in and did a fresh water dip it worked for me.

A quick fresh water dip wont hurt zoas, but it is up to you. The one i had loved to eat polyps so i had no choice.

take that out immediatley, i had a out break of those when i didnt take him out immediatley. they will reproduce and say good bye to your zoas. they ate colonies in my tank. I broke rocks to get these worms out . do whatever you have to do to get them out

Ok thank you guys seems the general consensus is "kill it with fire" haha

I had one in my tank that stretched to about 7' and ate my SPS and anything else it could find. By the time I figured out what was happening it had destroyed half my tank. It finally went thru the OF , slipped out of the filter sock, went thru the baffles and into the return pump and crashed the whole tank. Nasty worms!!!!

Now I'm just scared lol he comes out when I feed him so im gonna put the rock in some sw and try to lure him out with food and cut his little head off try to pull him out with tweezers or something
