Was just breaking down my nano, and this guy comes crawling out of a ball of chaeto. Thought eunice were mostly sand dwellers, but not really sure what this guy is. Any ideas?

I think it's a cucumber. The little frills on the tentacles. No jaws.

Oh, didn't even think of that possibility, but i think you are right. Very cool. Found two more in the chaeto and set the nano back up to keep these guys and observe.

Very cool, I would not be upset if I happen to get one in as a hitchhiker in the future.

A+ cucumber

Love sump watching. I find "new" creatures in mine all the time.
Whenever I build a new larger tank I am going to make a nice big refugium because I enjoy watching those creepy crawly things in the sump! Maybe a fuge where I dont have to lay down on the floor to do that watching. :)

So today when I got home and did some tank watching, I found something interesting. It appears my cucumbers have reproduced.
