Euphyllia corals dying

I have fluval 13.5 with stock light
Aqamai kps wavemaker and ehiem 1000 pump i am experiencing this issue only with euphyllia corals, Rest all my corals are great I change the water 30% weekely
Alkalinity is 10
Mag is more than 1350
Salinity is 35ppm
My water is crystal clear I checked for nitrate nitrite both are zero, hammer and torches dont look healthy and slowly loosing tissue

What other corals do you have? Could it be the lighting?

Welcome! Lighting and flow could definitely cause issues. With Nitrates at 0, i would maybe add some food. I don't direct feed mine, however I broadcast food if nutrients are too low.

LPS loves food and Nitrate is food. Get it up to 2ppm. Some current is fine with euphyllia but not a ton of flow

Your coral are dying because u have no nutrients. Get nitrates up to 10 and phosphate to around. 1

I struggle with nitrates as well. I feed reef roids. Once a week broadcast and once spot feed. I have an acan colony and hammer doing fine and growing. With out nutrients you have to feed them.

Welcome to R2R. do you have a QT tank you could set up and spot feed these back to health and observe them. there could be something unhealthy in the water column.

I would severely cut back the water changes because you likely don’t need to replace any major or trace elements at this point and you don’t need to export any nutrients. So stopping the water changes for now will stabilize the system.

Then I would perform some light broadcast feeding, using reef roids or similar, to increase nitrate or phosphate. I am not a fan of dosing nitrate or phosphate it that’s just me.
