Hello!

One of my LFS' are selling a euphyllia cristata, that's a super bright green and yellow, almost looks like a holy grail, I was just wondering if anyone has cristata and glabrescens together?

How long do the tentacles get? How do they grow? What are they like to keep? any info would be nice, this thing is ***** cheap, like £40.00 for a head.

the tentacles stay short,
but you cannot mix them with e glabrescens…
so keep this guy separate if you bought it:

and i hope you bought it, that thing is gorgeous!
So, put it on a different rock and it'll be fine? How short is short though? Like an inch or two? Or like the photo, just little bubbles?

a third of the length of euphyllia glabrescens,
and yes, isolate it to its own area…

rock, little single frag rack, sand bed etc

Keep it away from the sand....they are very delicate.

I've lost everyone I've tried to keep - my diamond goby has a bad habit of spreading sand around the tank.....like it's snow. Sand gets inside my cristatas and then, they slowly die.

I'm losing my 4 headed one now (down to 1 head) - I have a baby one....ive moved to a frag rack, till I get rid of the dang goby!

They are gorgeous "poor man's torch" but for how nice they are and how cheap they are it's a no brained, mine was literally a Holy Grail for £40.00, it's just a shame it's died :( It was a few inches above substrate, maybe it's lighting was too low, but I had read they don't need much light as they are normally under other corals, so I thought bottom corner would be okay but maybe not
