I’m wondering if the euphyllia frenzy has finally peaked and is on its way back to reality. I’m seeing gold torches packed in every website and starting to notice the prices are coming down. I’m also finally seeing a lot of holy grails for sale on this site that are not selling and even Cali kid has lowered the insane prices on the holy grails. It’s interesting I notice aqua sd is throwing around that label holy grail on almost every euphyllia they have for sale on their site to try and excite potential buyers. Is frenzy finally coming to an end? Reminds me of bitcoin a little bit...

I am wanting some acans for the new tank ,, not buying them till corals start coming in from Indo ,,
I would expect their price to increase once indo opens. They are Australian. Scolys and other Australian corals are very cheap right now. I would not wait.

Im already seeing the prices locally. I got priced $15 a head yesterday

Not saying your not right ,, I would think the opposite though ,, with a lot more corals on the market ,, competition for your coral $$ might effect prices on everything ,, I can hope anyway :)

I know ASD used to sell a ton of them ,, before the coral ban ,, they had 5 or 6 pages of them ,, they haven't had very many on their site since the coral ban ,, I don't know what the reason for that is ,, might be because the prices had went up ,, seems to me jmo Acan frags that used to sell for ,, say ,, $40 now sell for double that ,,

I haven't read anything that says they are exporting yet ,, the last I heard was that ,, they were researching the issue on how to set up the exporting market back up ,, once that is done ,, it would get to rolling ,, thats just what I read and I got most of that info on what people were posting on R2R lol

They have had a gold torch at my lfs for about 2 months now, it was priced at £420 and they offered it at £250 a few days ago, I think the market peaked in the UK about 4 - 6 months ago and people are just not prepared to pay silly prices any more. I bet I could get it for cost today with a bit of haggling! ;)
