Hey all!
So recently my gold hammer experienced polyp bailout and died off. I had moved it a couple inches just so it could get a little more light and flow, but didn’t like it. I said “lesson learned, don’t move corals unless necessary .” Well I didn’t learn my lesson unfortunately because I messed with my pumps after getting some gorgonians to give them more flow. Consequently, my euphyllias got a little more flow than they like. I tried to dial in the flow as best as I could, but now two have been upset for a few days. I did an iodine dip just in case of early BJD. They are coming back slowly, but don’t look great. I also dialed down my light a bit, just to give them a tad less stress. Now to my question: is it just a waiting game? Provide good stability in flow and params?
